Meet Holly, our Admissions Director at Sundance at Brushy Creek. Holly has a passion for people, specifically working with families, which is what ultimately led her to obtain her Bachelor of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin. Holly joins the Sundance team having previously worked in the foster care and adoption world for seven years. She loved working with families and watching children heal and grow. The transition to Sundance was a natural one for Holly due to her own personal journey with two of her beloved grandparents. Holly’s maternal grandmother moved in with her family when Holly was eight years old. Over the next eight years, Holly’s family went through the journey of her grandmother receiving a dementia diagnosis and then walking through all that came with it. It was an honor to have been able to care for her grandmother during that time and believes it greatly shaped who she is today. This experience during that time, along with those dearest to her, is what provides her with the desire to serve families well in this process.
She previously lived and worked with families in the Dominican Republic working for an educational development program. It was during that time that Holly met her husband. They now have two beautiful children (second child arriving in April 2017).
